101 Precinct Barbecues For 'National Night Out'

Community members, representatives of the 101 Precinct and politicians celebrated the annual National Night Out Against Crime Tuesday night with a barbeque in O'Donohue Park in Far Rockaway. Community Affairs Officers George Torres and Det. Willie Olmeda were the chefs for the evening as members of the precinct, including new Commanding Officer, Captain Brian McMahon mingled residents of the area. In addition, Y. Phllip Goldfeder of the Mayor's Office and NYPD Chief Thomas Dale of Queens South presented McMahon with a mayoral proclamation honoring the 101 Precinct.
