Pier 92 Hosts Irish Theme Night
Three of the Irish residents are chefs and they put on a traditional Irish feed for diners at Pier 92 on Monday night.
The restaurant is owned by Dan Tubridy, Pat's husband and by Mary Polsunas.
Among the traditional Irish dishes served that night were Pork Chops Colcannon on a bed of cabbage and bacon mash, Cod filets, Steak and Guinness Pie and Escalope of Chicken with Bushmills and Forest Mushroom Sauce.
Appetizers included egg with prawns, garlic cheddar toasts and a broccoli with cheddar soup.
The hit desert of the night seemed to be the Homemade Bailey's Cheese Cake.
The chefs, Michael McMurry, Charlie McCourt and Paul McNamee all work at restaurants in County Tyrone in Ireland.
