Teens in July Fourth Rape of Girl, 11
Two teenagers from Far Rockaway were arrested for the rape of an 11-year-old girl on the night of July 4, according to law enforcement sources.
Aubrey Armstrong, 17, teamed up with a 15-year-old accomplice who helped him pull the young girl behind
13-21 McBride Street at about 10:25 p.m., according to the allegations.
The accomplice, whose name was withheld because of his age, then put his hand over the girl's mouth and held her arms behind her back as Armstrong raped her, it is alleged.
The girl's name was withheld by law enforcement due to her age and the nature of the alleged incident.
Armstrong is charged with first degree rape. Queens Criminal Court Judge Robert Raciti set bail at $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond at Armstrong's arraignment on July 5, according to a spokesperson for Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown.
Armstrong is due back in court on July 24. The accomplice's charges were not available.
