The game between Laurence Pump and Multiple Listing Service of Long Island on June 15 chalked up another win for Laurence.

Judith Wanderer scored in the 1st on a heads-up walk, followed by three stolen bases.Kyra Meli and Cat Murphy added a run each in the second, each hitting a single and scoring on stolen bases.A single turned into a run scored in the third, by Annette Scotto. The fifth had four additional runs score on Erin Tacopina's double, Kristen Lonnborg's single, Annette Scotto's RBI double and Frances Amodeo's three run homer.

Terrific defense on the part of all held M.L.S.L.I. scoreless, for an 8-0 win by Laurence.

The Laurence vs. Gift of Love game on 06-21-06 had the Laurence bats fired up with each of the ten girls present scoring at least once. Bridget Grogan's "smart at bats" produced 3 hits, a walk, 2 R.B.I.s and she crossed homeplate three times. Mary Ameruso doubled twice, walked once, scored three times and picked up an R.B.I.Pauline O'Shea hit a three run homer and drove in an additional run on one of the two singles.Judith Wanderer sent one sailing deep to left center scoring a two run homer.

Defensively, the girls pulled it together beautifully with a number holding positions other than their usual, and proved themselves to be quite adaptable: Erin as pitcher, Mary Ameruso at 2nd, Lauren Houck at 1st and later in the game, Brittany Lonnborg at 2nd.The 20-2 victory gave Laurence first place with a 9 and 1 season as they head to the playoffs!
