Erin On The Rox

By Erin Baumann

The First annual Kutting for a Kause run by Tracy Rutter was held at the Irish Circle on May 28th. The very successful event raised $15,000 for Locks of Love and the St. Baldrick's foundation. Rutter did a great job putting everything together. The bands, including Whole in One, played great and everyone that attended had a great time.

Congratulations to Seamus Kelly, as he was awarded for his achievements from Xavier High School, "The Freshman Athlete of the Year Award" and "The Charlie Heeran Award for Outstanding Achievement." His very proud grandmother is Jane Swenson.

Congratulations to Brian Baumann who graduated from Bishop Ford High School on June 3. He will be attending St. Francis College in the fall.

Congratulations to Christina Morton and Seamus Ward who passed their State EMT exams. Good job!

I want to welcome to Roxbury a Breezy Point immigrant, Dennis Cook, who now resides on the West End of Roxbury. Roxbury is now his official home.

On July 8, Mary Bosch will be celebrating her 60th birthday with a beach party in front of her house on bay front. They will also be celebrating any other Roxbury Baby Boomers who are also turning 60.

So be sure to stop by and help them celebrate.
