NYPD Harbor Units,Aviation Drill For Drowning

While the summer has just begun, Units of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) joined with the city's Emergency Medical Service (FDNY-EMS) and the Parks Department to get ready for a drowning situation on Beach 67 Street last Tuesday morning. Pictures, Captain Charles Neacy, the commanding officer of the 100 Precinct, directs his troops to set up a landing perimeter for a rescue copter as EMS workers take their places at the beachfront.
