Opening Of Jorge Exhibition Draws Accolades

Chris Jorge opened her Exhibition with the roar of the ocean last weekend as crowds came to see her "Lines in the Sand" exhibition in Fort Tilden, featuring two-dozen photographs of beach chairs lying on the sand. "It's an exhibit that I think will kick off the summer," local artist and photographer Jorge told reporters. "It will get people in the mood for the nice weather of summer." The show opens this weekend and runs on weekends for the remainder of the month. The show is open on Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be an opening reception this Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Entrance to all exhibits is free. A welcoming collage beckons people to enter.
