JCC Says Food Stamps Might By Answer

How does or should a family deal with problems in purchasing good, nutritious foods when they have limited means to do so?

The Jewish Community Council says that one way is to deny the problem and hope it will go away, but the most sensible approach is to acknowledge that a problem exists and seek to resolve it. The EBT Food Card will solve their problem of the inability to purchase fresh and nutritious foods essential for their family's health.

Managing a food budget is like solving a puzzle that has a missing piece (whether the family is currently employed or not.) Believe it or not that missing piece may be the EBT Food Card, issued through the Food Stamp Program.

Once that missing piece is in place, the family can get back on track and start eating the healthy nutritious foods they need for good health.
