Blanche Day Care Center Graduates Child Care Workers At Ceremony
A child care training graduation ceremony was held at Blanche Daycare Center on Wednesday, May 10. The training program was a nine-week, 45-hour course that is part of the Child Care Business Development Project (CCBDP), offered by the Business Outreach Center Network (BOC). Quianna McBean, a representative from the office of State Assemblywoman Michele Titus, attended the ceremony. Graduates Cheryl Jeffrey-Blake, Carol Bowen, Kemlye Challenger, Theresa Davis, Carol Howard, Lintia Duncan-Lyons, Natasha Pierre, and Tanisha Williams were presented with citations from Titus' office, as well as State Senator Malcolm Smith's office. Walter McCree, a job developer from the Rockaway Revitalization and Development Corp (RDRC) and Loretta Greshan, an outreach specialist, also attended the graduation. The graduates are pictured with their certificates.
