Smoky Bay Towers Fire Ties Up Beach Channel Drive


Last Thursday's hot, smoky fire at 320 Beach 100 Street in the Bay Towers housing complex drove hundreds from their homes and tied up traffic in both directions on busy Beach Channel Drive for more than an hour. Fire officials say they are still investigating the cause of the fire but do not consider it suspicious in nature.
