...Names Bosa To Head Family Health Center
Vincent Bosa has been named Administrator of the Family Health Center at Peninsula Hospital Center. This is a new position at the hospital center, created for the purposes of bringing all of the different operatives at the Family Health Center, including the registrars, nurses, physicians, clerical and ancillary staff into one cohesive unit, under Bosa's able supervision. It is his intention to do everything possible to expedite the smooth, efficient and effective delivery of quality patient care.
Bosa's last position in the medical field was at On Your Mark, a program for persons who are developmentally disabled, retarded or autistic, where he served as the Assistant Executive Director. His prior experience includes a position at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he was the Administrator for Spine Service. His areas of expertise include cost analysis, quality control, customer service, troubleshooting and "team" building. He has great plans for the team at the Family Health Center of PHC, including working side by side with a core group of dedicated volunteers who will man the phones in an effort to keep in touch with the Center's patient population, both by way of follow-up after medical visits and to remind patients of their next scheduled appointment.
Bosa's background and extensive expertise as a health care administrator have equipped him with all the right ideas to make Peninsula's Family Health Center operate at its peak potential, while delivering top notch medical care to each and every patient who comes through its doors.
Bosa is a graduate of St. John's University and received his master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Rensselaer Institute. During the brief time he has been at PHC, he is already making his mark as a team player, with fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the delivery of quality ambulatory family medicine.
