Barracudas Winning Streak Turns Season Around

The Broad Channel Barracudas of the Hockey Long Island League are on their first winning streak of the season. The Barracudas (goalkeeper Brian Williams turns a shot away from a player from Team Peckers) have reversed a 1-4 start to the spring season and equaled their mark to 4-4 with an overtime 5-4 victory against the Scorpions on April 30. The 17 man roster is comprised of Broad Channel and Rockaway players who participated with hockey teams in BCAC or the Rockaway Rockies. Their next game will be on April 9 at Iceland Rink in New Hyde Park. Photo by Rich Bogart.
