Childbirth Prep Courses At SJEH

Classes for pregnant women and their coaches will be given at St. John's Episcopal Hospital.

Taught by certified prepared childbirth educators, topics cover warning signs of pre-term labor, cesarean delivery, pain medication, breathing, relaxation exercises, exercises for pregnant women, nutrition, breast and bottle feeding, stages of labor, post-partum depression, and taking care of yourself and your baby. The three-session course will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 16, and 30, 2006, at St. John's Hospital, which is located at 327 Beach 19th Street, Far Rockaway, NY 11691.
