Henry Michael Hall Presser

Henry Michael Hall, a Rockaway resident for over 30 years, died April 12. He was 57.

Hall, a presser, was born on February 12, 1949 in the Bronx.

He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; stepsons, Savon and Donald Dixon; daughter-in-law, Lamarenae; three grandchildren; mother-in-law, Melver Dixon; sister, Claudia McCain (Willie); godbrother, Karl Herbert and family; three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; several aunts, uncles and cousins from the Hall and Carter families; and many other relatives and friends.Funeral arrangements were entruted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Friendship Chapel.

Disposition was held at Oxford Hills Crematory in Chester, New York.

Richard Livingston

Rockaway Resident

Richard Livingston, a Rockaway resident for 22 years, died April 3. He was 75.

Livingston was born on December 25, 1931 in Flushing, Queens. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated college, and once owned a successful restaurant in the Chelsea area of Manhattan. His hobbies included disassembling and restructuring electronic appliances and mechanisms, such as radios, refrigerators, and air conditioners; and the sciences.

Livingston is survived by his brother, Arthur; and a sister.

A prayer will be said for Livingston on Sunday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church on Beach 92 Street in Rockaway Beach.

All other funeral arrangements were kept private.

Maximilliano Martinez

Longtime Rockaway Resident

Maximilliano Martinez, a Rockaway resident for 50 years, died April 13.

Martinez was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Petrona Martinez.

Martinez is survived by his sons, Antonio (Mary), Maximilliano Jr., and Ralph; daughters, Miguelina, Lillian (Victor), and Patricia; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.

Catherine T. Sweeney

Brooklyn Museum Employee

Catherine T. Sweeney (nee Harley), a Rockaway resident for 15 years coming from Brooklyn, died April 16.

Sweeney, known as "Aunt Cassie," was born in Donegal, Ireland. She worked for the Brooklyn Museum.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Daniel James Sweeney; and nephew, James Gillespie.

Sweeney is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Haughie (John); grandchildren, Kathleen Byrne and Christopher Haughie, three great-grandchildren; and nieces Helen McLaughlin and RoseAnn Laide.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Visitation was held at the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church in Belle Harbor.

Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.

Dellina Weston

Homemaker

Dellina Weston, a Rockaway resident for ten years, died April 7. She was 60.

Weston, a homemaker, was born on August 6, 1945 in Crawfordville, Georgia.

Weston was preceded in death by her parents, George Sr. and Geneva Turner.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Weston; sons, Robert Jr., Rodney and Reginald; daughter-in-law, Erika; grandchildren, Britney, Chyna, Shayla and TaShawna; siblings, F.B. Turner (Mary), Idonia Kilpatrick (Walter), Leola Cokley (Lindsey), Doretha Williams (Ford), Waymon Turner (Bertha), George Turner, Jr. (Patsi), Susie Reaves, Calvin Turner, Shirley Goodwin (Larry), Marilyn Parks (Clifford), Katherine Gilmore (Gregory), and Gilbert Turner (Marsha); uncle, Garnett Rhodes (Ella); aunts, Willie Mae Cunningham and Corine Jackson (Willard); and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation was held at Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Friendship Chapel.

Interment was at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Crawfordville, Georgia.

Maude Williams

Housewife

Maude Williams, a Rockaway resident for over 20 years, died April 14. She was 86.

Williams, a housewife, was born on September 19, 1919 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Freiedona and Wade Flamer; husband, Ernest Williams; children, Sonia, Gilbert, Ernest Jr., Ronald, Roland, Ernistine, and Audrey Williams.

She is survived by her children, Robert and Oliver Williams, Laverne Broadus, Leon, Bruce, Naomi, Brenda, and Roosevelt McCoy, Richard Smith and Sharon Murray; sister, Daisy Reese; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation was held at Macedonia Baptist Church.

Interment was at Forest Green Park Cemetery in Morganville, New Jersey.

Robert E. Zelek

Retired NYPD Detective

Robert E. Zelek, a Breezy Point resident for 45 years coming from Brooklyn, died April 16.

Zelek, a retired NYPD Detective from the 20th Precinct, was born in Brooklyn. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Rockaway Point/Breezy Point Catholic Club.

Zelek was preceded in death by his wife, Jane (nee McCabe); and sister, Eleanor Kelly.

Zelek is the father of Susan Ball (Joseph), Lynda Welsh (Thomas), Robert and Diane McNoble (Thomas); Poppa of Caitlin, Joey, Bridget, Tommy, Bobby, Thomas, Sean and Jane; brother of Joan LoBuglio; and companion and friend of Margaret Wheeler.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home on Friday, April 21, 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church in Rockaway Point on Saturday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will be held at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
