Hadassah Knits For SJEH Infants

Members of the Nassau Region of Hadassah knitted and crocheted afghans, hats and sweaters for the infants in the Nursery of St. John's Episcopal Hospital, South Shore. The baby clothes and blankets were created after the Hadassah Executive Board noticed many of their members knitting and crocheting. The Nassau organization made the creation of afghans, hats and sweaters for donation to infants in need their project for the year. Recently at St. John's, Hadassah members and residents of the Five Towns Karen Weinberg and Berta Waisbrot (center left and right respectively) presented the baby clothing to Allan Steinberg, MD, Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, St. John's (far left) and Joan Kraus, RN, St. John's Nursery (far right).
