On Thursday, police called a massive search of the Bayswater and Far Rockaway communities looking for the SUV, which had out of state license plates.

Aviation, K-9 and emergency service units were called in and a Level I Mobilization was called, bringing in police officers from all over the borough.

The maroon Buick SUV was reportedly found in front of the Bessamund Avenue location. and a warrant was signed allowing police to enter and search the residence as well as two automobiles parked in front of the home.

Police officials declined to speculate about whether the person who hit the DEA agent knew that he was an agent or whether it was purely an accident.
