Local Sgt. Recruiting For Army
Staff Sergeant Rashid Keitt, the son of Gregory and Lisa Keitt of the Redfern Houses in Far Rockaway, is now working in Brooklyn as a U.S. Army Recruiter, seeking a few good prospective U.S. Army recruits.
Keitt, an Honors graduate from Far Rockaway High School, class of 1999, joined the Army right after high school and completed basic training at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. He has been stationed in places such as Fort Meade in Maryland, Fort Huachuca in Arizona, and as far away as Korea.
The Army offers potential recruits the opportunity to earn skills and experience, and pay for college while building a career. Sergeant Keitt is looking for candidates in the medical field, accounting, engineering and construction, translators, and media production. Prospective recruits must be between the ages of 17-40; U.S. citizens and Green Card holders; and high school graduates or a GED equivalent.
