Brennan Returns From Iraq Tour Of Duty

Laura Ann Brennan will be returning to her home in Rockaway Beach on Saturday, March 18 after serving her country in the United States Army with a twelve-month tour in Iraq.

While in Iraq, Brennan was stationed at an Army fort outside the town of Tellifar on the Syrian border. She serves in the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Troop, which is the support squadron for the Third Armored Calvary Regiment. She is a supply technician and assists with the accountability of millions of dollars of aviation repair equipment.

Brennan moved up in rank while on tour in Iraq, winning squadron soldier of the month in August of 2005, and became an N.C.O. (non commissioned officer) last February.

Brennan is a graduate of St. Camillus School and Stella Maris High School. She is the daughter of Tara and John Brennan, and sister to Johnny, Lisa and Bryan.
