History's Mysteries Honor U.S. War Veteran


U.S. Army RangerStaff Sergeant (Ret.) David Herbert, a World War II, Korean, and Vietnam War veteran, paid a surprise visit to the students of Carolyn Leigh-Carter's History's Mysteries class at the Visiting Nurse Service andOn-Site Education Services, (O.E.S.) school last week. Herbert discussed topics from wars and presidents to the many diverse nations and cultures of the world as well as a discussion on Iraq today.It was a true honor to not only have Uncle Dave (as the students got to call him) give credit to the school and students, but to have the students respect andreally relish Herbert's visit to the site. As one student said, "We have the real deal in front of us.
