St. Pat’s Fisheads Battle Richmond Rugby

Rockaway Rugby will be hosting the Richmond Rugby Club from Limerick City, Ireland this Saturday and the New York Fire Dept. will face their arch rivals the New York Police Dept. at Fort Tilden. Games will begin at 10am. Afterwards, all players are welcome to march with the Fisheads in the Queens St. Patrick’s day parade.

The Fisheads are hoping for monsoon conditions (at least in the morning) as well as a hearty pre-night of sightseeing in the Rockaways for their opponents as they are well aware that they are facing a mighty test.

The F.D vs. P.D match will also be filled with fun and excitement and will feature many local heroes on both sides.

Please stop down to the Belle Harbor Yacht Club afterwards as the Fisheads will be hosting their post tournament party, featuring Shilelagh Law begins promptly at 4 p.m., live music by locals Inda Culture, D.J. Nico, pipes and drums step dancers and much much more. Noted music professional sound mixer Tom Bolan will be on hand to assist with the entertainment.
