Belle Harbor Siblings Celebrate Cultures

Through song and dance, Lawrence Woodmere Academy children give glimpses of cultures from around the world at the Lower School’s celebration of International Day 2006. Different countries are portrayed each year. This year’s countries included Mexico, Canada, Greece, India and West Indies. At the end of the performance, children and parents held hands and sang “We are the World” and dedicated the song to world peace. Pictured are Devin Cooper-Vastola, Grade 4, who studied the West Indies and his sister Jes sica, Grade 2, representing Greece.
