Sorrentino Soccer Are The Best of Queens So Far

The 2006 Sorrentino Recreational Center/City of New York Parks & Recreation Queens Indoor Soccer Season continued this past week. The Sorrentino Recreational Center finds themselves right at the top of the Queens Divison.

The Sorrentino Vikings, Sorrentino Arsenal and the Sorrentino Fires are the top three teams respectively in the Queens division. In the 13 and under division, Sorrentino teams have beaten Lost Battalion Hall, Roy Wilkins and Liberty Park in successive weeks. Sorrentino will continue to remain top in their next set of games at Lost Battalion Hall in Rego Park on Monday, February 27 starting at 5 p.m.

The Sorrentino Recreation Center have begun registration for the co-ed ages 12 and under basketball tournament. Registration is still available for the 14 and under and 10 and under co-ed tournaments, along with the 16 and under boys, which will begin this month.

The season starts March 14 at the Sorrentino Recreational Center. Registration is limited so for those seeking further information, call 718-471-4818. The center is located at 18-48 Cornaga Avenue.
