Queens DOT Commissioner To Speak

On Thursday evening, February 16 at 7:45 PM sharp, Queens Department of Transportation Commissioner Constance Moran will be addressing the Good Government Regular Democratic club about issues.

Among the issues to be raised are the parking problems on Beach 116 Street, need for traffic lights on Shorefront Parkway, Newport Avenue, Cronston Avenue and other streets and repairs of potholes and sidewalks.

District Leader Lew M. Simon urges all concerned residents to get together and make their needs known. “Don’t stay home and complain. Let your voice be heard,” said Simon. Bagels and cream cheese, coffee and cake are served. The club is located at 112-20 Beach Channel Drive (opposite Waldbaum’s).
