At its monthly meeting last week, Community Board 6, which covers the areas of Rego Park and Forest Hills, voted unanimously to select Frank P. Gulluscio to be the Board’s District Manager.

Gulluscio is the long-time Democratic District Leader and an assistant to City Councilman Joseph Addabbo. In those roles, he was often seen at Rockaway events.

Gulluscio will be leaving his position on Addabbo’s staff when he starts the new job.  He will remain Democratic District Leader in the 23 A.D. as holding that unsalaried party position is allowed and does not present a conflict of interest.

Prior to his working for the councilman, Gulluscio was a successful businessman who owned and operated a group of companies.  Before joining Addabbo’s staff, he also served as a member of Community Board 10 and was the chairperson of its Budget Committee for many years.
