Irish Dancers ‘Rock’Philadelphia

The Irish dancers from

The O’Malley Irish Dance

Academy, located in Breezy Point and Marine Park,

took Philadelphia by

storm over the Thanksgiving

weekend, returning

home with three wins. In the adult division, the four-hand adult mixed ceili, the team of Lily Corcoran Pineiro (from Belle

Harbor), Eileen Herr, Terrance

Caulfield and Arlene Butler placed first in the Mid-Atlantic States,

becoming the 2005 Champions.

In the primary division (children under nine), the all Breezy Point team of four children placed third, beating some of the top schools in Irish dancing.
