Archer To Leave RDRC

After seven and a half years of running the Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corporation (RDRC), Executive Director Curtis Archer will be leaving for a new post as President of the prestigious Harlem Community Development Corporation. Archer will leave the Rockaway position on January 20. Archer said that the RDRC would begin its search for a new executive director after a selection committee of the Board of Directors is seated at a January 26 meeting. He expects that the search process will take some time, although he has already submitted some names to the board. Pictured, Archer (center) at a recent RDRC announcement for a new flea Market.
