Dr. Narendra Hadpawat, Director of the Hospital Center’s Department of Medicine (left), welcomes oncologist Dr. Alexander Losev (right) to Peninsula Hospital Center’s Oncology Team. “There is a growing need in the Rockaway community for additional cancer care services and there is no reason why Rockaway residents should travel such long distances for appropriate and advanced care,” explains Dr. Hadpawat. “The Hospital Center has been responding to this community medical need and is now expanding its services in chemotherapy and radiation oncology,” continues Dr. Hadpawat. “There is absolutely no need for a cancer patient to travel long distances for the necessary prescribed treatment - Peninsula Hospital Center offers the same advanced cancer care - close to home.”
