Doo Wop Concert At BCHS

The 13th annual “Harry G. Doo Wop Spectacular” is set for January 28, 2006 at Beach Channel High School, with a show time start for the ten-act concert beginning at 7 p.m.

The concert, the longest running annual Doo Wop fundraising event in the tri-state area, will feature a lineup including Kenny Vance and the Planotones; Lenny Cocco and The Chimes; Shirley Alston Reeves; The Fireflies; and many more. Harry G., New York’s “Duke of Doo Wop,” will host the concert.

Partial proceeds from the event will benefit the Susan G. Memorial Scholarship Fund.
