The Hamer-Campos Farmers’ Market held an end of the season Turkey Raffle on November 12 and November 19, wrapping up the 12th season the market has been running. On Thanksgiving Day, members of the market joined with Reverend Jan Powell’s First Congregational Church for a “Rock and Wrap It Up” feast, where 285 guests enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal and took home pantry bags provided by the Rotary Club of the Rockaways, who collected at Waldbaum’s on November 19, and were delivered by Brother Tom. Over 47 giveaways were provided by the Hamer-Campos Farmers’ Market end of season raffle, including turkeys, honey, and potted plants.
