Rockaway Relay Celebrates Success At Wrap-Up Party

David Golub, the regional vice president of the American Cancer Society, thanks volunteers and relayers for their hard work and dedication at the 2005 Rockaway Relay for Life Wrap-up Party at the Beach Club on October 19.

Stella Maris High School student Ashley Larcheveque collected $783 for this year’s relay as a result of a dress down event. Her mom, Joanne (of the Blackwater Inn), collected $865 from a softball game that will be counted toward next year’s relay dollars. David Golub (of the American Cancer Society) accepts the checks.
