PS 114 Morning Exercises Renew Patriotic Spirit

Two PS114 (Belle Harbor) students proudly unfurl and subsequently hoist Old Glory, as part of The Belle Harbor School’s daily opening exercises. Energized by the recital of The Pledge of Allegiance concomitant with the singing of a patriotic song, Belle Harbor School children, along with parents and guardians looking on, re-dedicate themselves to the freedoms and responsibilities represented by our Flag. Each school morning, Belle Harbor School Principal, Stephen P. Grill, I.A., along with Assistant Principal Janet M. Donohue, select two students to share center stage in assisting in honoring the red, white, and blue...and all She represents.
