After the success of the Emmaus program last year at St. Edmund Prep High School in Sheepshead Bay, the school is expanding the retreat program this year.

The retreats, coordinated by Mr. Mark Amatrucola, a computer coordinator in the school, and other faculty members, are open to young men and women who are in their junior or senior years. The students are responsible for cooking, serving and cleaning. Other activities will include carving a turkey for Thanksgiving, participating in a dance party, and creating a theme for the Emmaus banner.
