Addabbo FHC Hosts Successful Blood Drive

On September 16th the staff of the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center did their part to help with the blood shortage in the southeast queen’s community. “I am so proud of the health center’s staff for their overwhelming response” stated Dr. Alfonso Chan, Medical Director for the health center. Ms. Jean-Marie Reyes, Front Desk Registration Clerk said “I feel so helpless and limited in what I could do to help.  This was perfect for me. The van came right to the front door of the center, and during my lunch hour I donated blood. I feel I have done my small part in making life a little better for those in need”. Reyes is pictured completing the questionnaire prior to donating.
