Artist Patrick Clark continues to work in Tribute Park, readying the park for its opening later this year. This mosaic, which was once slated to become the floor of the glass cupola, is now the centerpiece of the park. It honors each of the local communities that saw residents die in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Clark puts the finishing touches on the mosaic installation. He recently told The Wave that the final artistic touch, the glass cupola that stands nearby the bay, would be put in place in “approximately a month.” The Firefighter Memorial will be in place, he said, within the week.
