Graybeards ‘Pints For Life’ Blood Drive Set For 9/18
 | | The Graybeards Fourth Annual ‘Pints For Life’ Blood Drive will be held on Sunday, September 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the St. Francis de Sales gym, 219 Beach 129 Street. Last year the drive collected over 200 pints, and the Graybeards hope to do even better this year. Blood reserves are at critically low levels, and by donating it will help overcome the acute shortage. To donate, a person must be healthy and at least 16 years of age. Bring a photo ID and know your social security number. To register, call the Graybeards at 718-634-6812. Walk-ins will be accepted as well. Pictured, a woman donates at last year’s blood drive. |
