Locals Bike From Ground Zero To Pentagon

Three local women recently took part in the Tour De Force fourth annual bike tour from the World Trade Center site in Manhattan to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The ride is a memorial to all those who were lost on September 11, 2001. The funds raised by the ride go to the families of law enforcement officers who were lost in the line of duty. The ride started on September 8 and ended on September 11. Pictured, the local women who took part in the ride. From left, they are Theresa Peterson (Breezy Point), Patty Henderson (Roxbury) and Sue Wekar (Belle Harbor).
