Patrick Clark, the artist whose work will be featured in Tribute Park, was at the site this week laying out and cementing the park’s mosaic centerpiece. Once designed to be the floor of the Tribute Park dome, the mosaic is now a standalone feature that is angled so the “We Will Never Forget” message can be easily read. Clark’s progress and the park’s unveiling go hand in hand as his work, which he has called “the icing on the cake,” represents the last of what must be done before a date is announced.
