for larger version       Floral Designer To Speak At Luncheon The Shore Garden Club of Neponsit and Belle Harbor will be hosting a luncheon on Monday, October 17 at the Beach Club. Cathy Miller will be the guest speaker. Miller, a flower arranger, lecturer, writer, and horticulturist, has been referred to as “New Jersey’s answer to Martha Stewart.” She has created dried flower arrangements for several presidents, including President Carter and President Bush, and has written many articles for national magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens and Woman’s Day. She has also appeared on many television shows. The luncheon is open to the public and will feature raffles, including Miller’s dried flower arrangements. Tickets for the event are $35 dollars, and can be ordered by calling Elaine at (718) 945-2791.
