Belle Harbor Kids To The Rescue

Last Wednesday several young Belle Harbor residents raised money for Hurricane Katrina victims on Beach 139 Street and Cronston. Anyone that gave a donation received a hand-painted seashell. All of the money raised will go to the hurricane victims through the American Red Cross. Pictured: (in no particular order) Erin Blum, Courtney Blum, Kerrianne Blum, Catherine Murphy, Meredith Connelly, Megan Rochelle, Shannon Rochelle and Alexandra Breen holding up the shells they made.
