Dodgers Win Sorrentino Little League

The Sorrentino Recreation Center/ HealthPlus / Parks & Recreation /P.A.L. Little League Championship game was held Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Beach 17th Street, O’Donahue Park and was no less than great. The resiliency of the Dodgers, coached by Ray, rebounded from a 4 – 0 deficit to defeat G-Way 16 – 11 and advanced to the City-wide championship being held at Patterson Field in Brooklyn on Saturday, August 27, 2005. The 13 – 15 years old Junior Division Queens Champions Sorrentino Recreation Center will play the City-wide Championship at the Red Hood baseball field in Brooklyn on August 27, 2005.
