Strands full-service unisex hair salon was founded by Diane, Gerri and Sal (pictured) in April 2004. They believed the Rockaways needed and deserved something more. Their services include complete hair care and facials. They also carry a full line of retail products, including flat irons and brushes. They are very excited about the upcoming expansion they will be undergoing. With the expansion they will be able to bring the Rockaway community more services.
At Strands you will find many different hairdressers from different backgrounds. They all work as a team and share a mutual creativity. No matter what your needs are you are sure to find someone at Strands to fulfill them. That is the kind of warm and friendly atmosphere they have.
