Woman Missing From Surfside Manor

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Grace Barnes, a 75-year-old woman described as being in good physical condition but poor mental condition. Barnes, who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, disappeared from the Surfside Manor Nursing Home at 95-02 Rockaway Beach Boulevard at about 4:45 p.m. on Monday, August 15. She was last seen wearing a pink housedress with a fanny pack underneath. Police ask anyone with information to call the 100 Precinct at (718) 318-4200 or Missing Persons at (212) 473-2042. Police said no photo was available.
