Beep Marshall To Address Dem Club

Queens Borough President Helen Marshall will address the Regular Democratic Club of the Rockaways at 104-02 Rockaway Beach Boulevard on Wednesday, August 3 at 8 p.m. sharp.

Marshall has a very extensive resume prior to becoming the Borough President. She served as the elected Assemblywoman for 10 years. Subsequently she served for 10 years in the New York City Council. The 18th Borough President of Queens, Marshall garnered over 68 per cent of the vote in her race to the Borough Presidency in 2002.

“Helen Marshall loves people,” says club president Geraldine Chapey. “She works tirelessly to serve the Borough of Queens.”

“She is a strong advocate for education, having been a teacher herself,” she added. “Her interests also include libraries, health care, seniors, women, housing and buildings and the environment.”

Chapey urges all Rockaway residents to join the club for a community update from our Borough President.
