PS 114 Gets Safe Swimming Lesson

P.S. 114Q incoming Principal I.A., Stephen P. Grill hosted the Region 5 - promulgated Water and Beach Safety DVD presentation on Monday morning, June 13 at a series of assembly programs. Narrated by M.S. 202 Media Teacher and Chief Lifeguard Janet Fash detailed the do’s and dont’s regarding swimming, surfing, and enjoying the Atlantic shoreline. With Grill (left) in the picture is John Nuer, water safety expert. A question and answer period followed each of the three presentations, affording the potential student swimmers and surfers, both novice and expert, the opportunity to discuss real life scenarios involving water safety.
