Museum Fundraiser Draws Crowd To Pier 92

The Rockaway Museum held its second annual fundraiser at Pier 92 last Sunday. Large crowds enjoyed the food, music by Velvet Rose and many exciting auctions. Pictured, Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer addresses the crowd as Museum Director Susan Locke looks on.
A display of memorabilia from Far Rockaway High School was an attention-getter as people entered the fundraiser.
Apryl Green and Velvet Rose provided the entertainment.
The many guests enjoyed eating and listening to entertainment under the tent.
Sharon Gabriel proudly displays the cachet by local artist Steve Yaeger that she won in the Chinese Auction.
Lenny and Marilyn Kohn look at some of the many baskets of material and coupons that were up for auction.
