Thomas J. Mitchell, a partner with McCanliss and Early, has been named chair of the New York State Bar Association’s 2,800-member General Practice Section. A graduate of Fordham University Law, Mitchell is a member of the Queens Bar Association and the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Brooklyn. Mitchell currently serves as the president of Holy Name Society of St. Thomas More/St. Edmunds in Breezy Point. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of Peninsula Hospital Center.
