Maltese One-Woman Show Draws Crowds to Fort Tilden

Constance Maltese and the Rockaway Artist Alliance (RAA) hosted a one-woman show at Fort Tilden last week. The paintings, all featuring women in history, drew large crowds to the Rockaway Center for the Arts. Pictured, Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer, RAA President Geoff Rawling, Wave Publisher Susan Locke, Maltese, and Queens Borough President Helen Marshall in front of the artist’s rendition of famous women in aviation, including Ellen Shulman Baker, the daughter of former borough president Claire Shulman.
