Ex-Cop Takes Reins As PHC Security Chief


Lead Security Officer, Linda Ancona welcomes Peninsula Hospital Center’s new Director of Security, Michael Valentino. Valentino is familiar with the Rockaways having spent 17 years of his career as a New York City Police Officer in the 101st Precinct, the last five of which he spent as the Precinct’s Community Affairs Officer. Following his retirement from the NYCPD, he joined the staff at Peninsula Hospital Center as Director of Security and looks forward to his new position. “I’m very glad to be back in the Rockaways during such an exciting time for the community and I’m very happy to be a part of Peninsula Hospital Center,” he said. “The staff is great to work with and has made me feel a part of the hospital center already.” Lead Security Officer, Linda Ancona welcomes Peninsula Hospital Center’s new Director of Security, Michael Valentino.
