Three Arrested After Cops Find Coke, Gun
Three people were arrested Monday after police with a search warrant found cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a loaded handgun inside a Rockaway Beach residence, police said.
Officers from the 100 Precinct searched the home at 183 Beach 96 Street and recovered five glassine envelopes of cocaine, empty glassine envelopes, a scale and a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol containing seven rounds, according to court records. The weapon, which was wedged in a couch, had its serial number scratched off.
Queens Criminal Court Judge Steven Paynter issued police a search warrant for the residence earlier on Monday.
Police arrested Tracy Clark, 43, of 8800 Shore Front Parkway; Jesus Guerra, 25, of 156 Beach 97 Street; and Jeffrey Robinson, 29, of 183 Beach 96 Street. Guerra and Robinson, who were listed in court records as co-defendants, face felony criminal weapons possession, drug and paraphernalia charges. It was not clear at press time whether Clark was charged with any crime.
A police officer from the 100 Precinct also found a glassine envelope of cocaine in the back seat of the patrol car that was used to bring Clark, Guerra and Robinson to precinct stationhouse, records show.
