Sorrentino Center Crowns Three Flag Football Champions
In the 8-11 year old division and the 12-14 year old division, G-Way, coached by John Middleton, captured both titles over Coach Robert Lindo’s Bengals.
In the 15-17 year old division, the Sorrentino Recreational Center all stars will compete against the best of the city on December 3, at East River Park.
The 8-11 year old G-Way team will play Brooklyn at 10 a.m. this Saturday at East River Park in Manhattan. The winner will advance to play in the championship, which occur later in the day against Manhattan, The Bronx or Staten Island.
The 12-14 year old division, Sorrentino G-Way will face the winner of the Staten Island- Manhattan game in the playoffs at 10:30 a.m. at East River Park. If Sorrenino wins, they will play Bronx or Brooklyn for the championship.

Pepper Steppers Head to Apollo
The Sorrentino Recreational Center Stan Pepper Steppers will compete at the World Famous Apollo Theatre in the 2005 Double Dutch Holiday Classic on Sunday, December 4 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Co-ed teams from throughout the United States, Denmark, Belgium and Japan will compete in events for all ages. Stan Pepper Steppers will compete in the fourth through open grade divisions (singles and doubles teams) and advanced fusion division.
